About the Role:
We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Recruiter to join our People Team on a full-time, temporary basis. This role will support high-volume hiring needs across multiple business areas and play a key role in helping us scale during a period of growth.
You’ll partner closely with hiring managers to drive full-cycle recruiting effort from sourcing and screening through offer and onboarding while ensuring a strong candidate experience.
Responsibilities:
- Source and identify qualified candidates using job boards, networking, referrals, and direct outreach
- Build and maintain a proactive pipeline of talent aligned to current and future hiring needs
- Review resumes and evaluate candidates based on skills, experience, and role alignment
- Conduct initial phone screens to assess qualifications, experience, and overall fit
- Present candidate summaries, including interview feedback and recommendations, to hiring managers
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand business needs and drive efficient hiring processes
- Maintain accurate, organized candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Ensure a positive candidate experience through clear, timely communication and process transparency
- Support development of interview guides, competency scorecards, and structured hiring practices
- Manage job postings across ConnectPay’s careers page and external platforms
- Stay informed on market trends impacting talent availability and hiring strategies
- Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation as needed
- Provide timely and professional communication to candidates not selected
- 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally within software, financial services, banking, or high-volume sales/customer service environments
- Strong sourcing skills with the ability to identify and engage passive candidates
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization abilities
- Ability to influence and build relationships with hiring managers and candidates
- Proven success in a fast-paced, metrics-driven, and collaborative environment
- Experience working within an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Sales, or a related field preferred
CP Payroll believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of this role's hourly rate range is $40-50/hr. The actual hourly range will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s education, training, experience, location, and internal equity.
